Shore United Bank is seeking a Commercial Services Officer to support the growth and delivery of commercial banking products. You will serve as a liaison between clients, sales teams, and operations, ensuring services are adopted efficiently and customer value is enhanced.

The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, risk management, and cross-selling across banking lines, with a focus on client-facing duties and strategic service delivery in a community banking setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business/finance.
• 3+ years in financial services selling business banking products.
• Willingness to travel within the Mid Shore region.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Generates deposits and fee income by selling and promoting commercial services to new and existing customers.
• Provides commercial services support to commercial bank customers; collaborates with sales for client discussions and demos.
• Connects customer needs to banking solutions with high quality proformas and pricing plans.
• Implements services for customers and handles service requests; researches and follows up on issues.
• Provides customer training for commercial services.
• Monitors customer usage of services and recommends changes or new functionality to management.
• Maintains audit logs, task records, and complete documentation of actions.
• Promotes cross-sell opportunities across business lines including Wye Financial, lending and deposits.
• Completes required regulatory training (BSA, CRA, ECOA) and supports risk management policies.
