Job summary

Shore United Bank is seeking a full-time Compliance Specialist II to join our team. The role supports the Bank's Compliance Management Program through monitoring, testing, research, reporting, and advisory activities to ensure adherence to consumer protection laws and banking regulations.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to interpret complex regulations while collaborating with business units to promote a culture of compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in bank compliance, banking operations, lending, deposits, audit, risk management, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience researching requirements, reviewing documentation, or performing monitoring or quality-control activities.
• Familiarity with consumer protection laws and federal/state banking regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs assigned compliance monitoring and testing, documenting work, and tracking corrective actions.
• Assists with updating bank policies, procedures, forms, and disclosures for regulatory alignment.
• Supports regulatory examinations and audits by coordinating documentation and responses.
• Coordinates training activities and supports the Compliance Committee with materials and minutes.
• Maintains accurate compliance records and prepares reports on a timely basis.
