Job summary

DH Pace Company, a family-owned leader in doors, docking and security products, seeks a Service Manager for our Omaha, NE office. You will lead the commercial door service team, oversee scheduling, dispatching, and labor costs to meet customer commitments.

The role emphasizes project management, achieving timely completion, and cost control. A Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years’ supervision experience and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with at least 2 years of personnel management experience.
• Strong customer communication skills to ensure satisfaction.
• Ability to understand technical applications and mechanical systems.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the commercial door service department.
• Plan, manage, and implement schedules to meet daily customer commitments and ensure that the plan is properly executed.
• Review workload and manpower to meet customer commitments in a cost effective manner.
• Ensure that projects are completed timely, below budget and to the satisfaction of the customer.
• Review monthly financial/operational reports and work with front-line managers to develop action plans to improve.
• Improve individual performance of the field force you manage through daily, monthly and yearly performance reviews.
• Will assist with hiring, training and developing new employees.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager.
