Job summary

DH Pace Company, Inc. in St. Louis, MO seeks a Service Manager to lead our entry door systems service and installation business with a high degree of customer interfacing. This hands-on role will directly manage technicians and dispatching, while focusing on quality service.

You will oversee budgeting and scheduling, hire/train staff, and work with customers to deliver optimal solutions. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred.
• Minimum two (2) years’ work experience; preferably with supervisory or managerial responsibilities with a commercial building products and materials company that fixes/repairs/installs equipment/products.
• Excellent communication, highly organized, and strong mechanical aptitude required.

Responsibilities

• Manage department Budget and P&L with effective control of labor and material costs.
• Directly assist with employee/job scheduling/dispatching and troubleshoot issues.
• Communicate with customers to ensure the highest quality service.
• Develop, train and hire technicians, office staff and interns as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
