Engtal is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Indiana to lead large construction initiatives from preconstruction through close-out. You will own schedule, budget, quality, and safety while serving as the primary point of contact for Owners and design partners.

Expect to mentor teams and drive project success on high-profile community projects. The role requires extensive construction experience, client-facing excellence, and proficiency with Procore.

The Role

As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of construction projects from preconstruction through close-out. You’ll serve as a key client contact while leading project teams and managing schedule, budget, quality, safety, and overall project performance.

You’ll have the autonomy to make decisions, solve complex challenges, develop project teams, and build lasting relationships with owners, design partners, subcontractors, and internal leadership.

What You’ll Do

• Lead construction projects from preconstruction through close-out
• Own project performance across schedule, budget, quality, and safety
• Serve as the primary point of contact for Owners and design partners
• Coordinate with Estimating, Superintendents, Accounting, and Field teams
• Review contracts, drawings, and specifications to identify scope and risk
• Develop project plans, logistics, schedules, and procurement strategies
• Oversee subcontractor and vendor selection and performance
• Lead project meetings and keep teams aligned on milestones
• Monitor job costs, invoices, forecasts, and overall financial performance
• Maintain a strong safety culture across projects
• Oversee punch lists, warranties, O&M manuals, lien waivers, and final close-out
• Mentor and develop Project Engineers, APMs, and other project staff
• Support business development and strengthen client relationships

What You Bring

• 14+ years of progressive construction experience
• Experience in roles such as Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, APM, or Project Engineer
• Proven ability to manage complex construction projects with significant accountability
• Strong client-facing and relationship-building skills
• Knowledge of construction means and methods, contract administration, and risk management
• Strong financial and cost-control experience
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Collaborative management style with the ability to earn the trust of field and office teams
• Proficiency with construction technology and software; Procore preferred
• Familiarity with AIA contracts and project administration
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and integrity
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between office and project sites as needed
