Job summary

Johnson Controls Security is seeking a Commercial Account Executive to promote and sell our security services within a defined territory, building relationships with local businesses and closing new deals.

You will act as the brand steward, maintain knowledge of our product line, renew agreements, and contribute to customer satisfaction and retention through proactive follow-ups and strong presentation skills.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• Excellent oral, written and presentation skills with the ability to present to senior level executives within the customer and Johnson Controls Security organizations
• Ability to work a full-time schedule; local travel required
• College degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a successful commercial sales representative in the security, IT or other technology sales industry, demonstrated by meeting/exceeding quotas.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell Johnson Controls Security services and technology within an assigned territory.
• Be the Johnson Controls Security brand steward, clearly demonstrating leadership in the security market.
• Secure profitable sales and upgrades to new, existing and discontinued Johnson Controls Security Commercial customers; improve customer satisfaction and retention.
• Maintain deep knowledge of our products and services and communicate value to customers.
