Job summary

Guardian Alarm in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Commercial Sales Consultant to sell alarm systems and surveillance equipment to businesses, prepare proposals, run appointments and close sales.

You will prospect for new business, present security solutions, and manage contracts, with travel to meet clients daily. Build relationships, negotiate terms, and support installation/service teams as needed to meet targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 3-5 years business-to-business sales experience required.
• Security industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new business.
• Create goodwill and positive image of Guardian Alarm.
• Act as liaison between Guardian and Police Department.
• Speak as a security expert to business groups and associations.
• Present sales presentations and proposals to prospects.
• Follow up on prospects and negotiate contract terms.
• Process contracts and paperwork according to procedures.
• Manage leads in database and update as needed.
• Coordinate sales with operations and installation/service teams.
