Jobot in Cary, NC is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to grow our commercial roofing business. This role focuses on developing new opportunities and expanding relationships with property owners, facility managers, and contractors.

Qualifications

• Previous outside sales or business development experience, preferably within commercial roofing, construction, building materials, or related industries.
• Proven ability to prospect, develop relationships, and close new business.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
• Ability to manage an assigned territory and work independently.
• Understanding of commercial roofing systems, roof replacements, repairs, and maintenance is highly preferred.
• Experience working with property managers, facility directors, building owners, or general contractors is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally throughout the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new commercial roofing business opportunities within an assigned territory.
• Build and maintain relationships with property managers, building owners, facility directors, general contractors, and other decision-makers.
• Generate leads through prospecting, networking, referrals, and existing customer relationships.
• Conduct site visits, evaluate customer needs, and coordinate roofing solutions.
• Prepare and present proposals, estimates, and service recommendations.
• Work closely with estimating, project management, and operations teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Manage the sales process from initial prospecting through contract execution.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and consistently work toward revenue and profitability goals.
• Identify opportunities for repeat business, service agreements, and long-term customer partnerships.
