Job summary

Epic Roof Replacement is expanding its commercial roofing division across California and seeks an experienced Commercial Roofing Sales Executive to drive growth. The role focuses on generating new business, not just managing leads, with statewide travel and high-value project opportunities.

The candidate will develop a robust pipeline, close contracts, and collaborate with estimating and production teams to deliver multi-million-dollar projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial roofing sales or business development experience.
• Proven track record of independently generating and closing commercial roofing contracts.
• Existing relationships within California's commercial construction, roofing, or property management industries.
• Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems, including TPO, modified bitumen, and low-slope roofing applications.
• Experience pursuing large commercial roofing opportunities.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to independently generate and manage a sales pipeline.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout California.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with property owners, PMs, general contractors, developers, facility managers, and real estate groups.

• Develop a consistent pipeline of commercial re-roofing projects.
• Attend client meetings, site inspections, and industry events.
• Collaborate with estimating and production teams to prepare proposals and close contracts.
• Establish long-term partnerships that generate recurring commercial roofing business.

Epic Roof Replacement is expanding its commercial roofing division across California, and we're looking for an experienced Commercial Roofing Sales Executive / Business Development Professional to help drive our next phase of growth.

With established operations in Los Angeles, the Inland Empire, the Bay Area, and Sacramento, we have the infrastructure, estimating capabilities, and production teams to support large-scale commercial roofing projects statewide.

We're looking for someone with a proven track record in commercial roofing sales, strong industry relationships, and the ability to independently develop and close major commercial roofing opportunities.

This position is focused on generating new business, not simply managing incoming leads.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and close commercial roofing opportunities throughout California.
• Focus primarily on projects ranging from $250,000 to several million dollars, while also pursuing smaller commercial opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with commercial property owners, property management companies, general contractors, developers, facility managers, and real estate investment groups.
• Generate new business through established industry relationships, networking, referrals, and direct prospecting.
• Develop a consistent pipeline of commercial re-roofing projects.
• Attend client meetings, site inspections, industry events, and pre-bid conferences.
• Collaborate with our estimating and production teams to prepare proposals and close contracts.
• Establish long-term partnerships that generate recurring commercial roofing business.

Preferred: Experience generating $3M–$5M+ annually in commercial roofing contracts and securing individual projects valued at $250,000 or more.

Compensation & Benefits

• $100,000 annual base salary (W-2).
• 2% uncapped commission on qualifying collected commercial project revenue.
• $200,000 annual total earnings at $5M in qualifying collected revenue, with additional earning potential for higher production.

Location

California – Statewide Territory

Candidates may be based in Southern California, the San Francisco Bay Area, Sacramento, or other California markets.

This is a field-based position requiring statewide travel and direct client engagement.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for an established commercial roofing professional who knows how to develop relationships, identify opportunities, and bring significant commercial roofing business to the company.

Our goal is to find someone capable of generating $5M–$7M+ annually in commercial roofing contracts.

You'll have the flexibility to develop your territory and the backing of an established California roofing contractor with the resources to execute major projects.
