Job summary

Bourn Companies seeks an experienced Commercial/Retail Project Manager to oversee execution of commercial and retail developments from planning through closeout. You will coordinate general contractors, architects, engineers, tenants, and internal teams to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in construction/development/PM and a track record delivering retail projects, tenant improvements, and mixed-use developments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive construction, development, or project management experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing commercial and/or retail construction projects.
• Experience coordinating general contractors, architects, engineers, consultants, and other project stakeholders.
• Experience with retail development, tenant improvements, tenant coordination, or mixed-use projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as owner’s representative for commercial and retail development and construction projects.
• Manage projects through design, preconstruction, permitting, construction, turnover and closeout.
• Drive project schedules, milestones, budgets, forecasts, cost controls, and execution.
• Coordinate general contractors, architects, engineers, consultants, tenants, municipalities, and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor contractor performance and accountability for scope, schedule, budget, quality, and contractual commitments.
• Identify project risks and develop practical solutions with project partners.
