Job summary

Rally Search in Charlotte seeks a Senior Construction Project Manager with a strong commercial retail background to own projects from inception to completion. You will lead planning, budgeting, team creation, and coordination with subs, vendors, and architects to meet schedule, budget, and safety standards.

Expect base pay of $130,000–$185,000 with a bonus around $35,000–$60,000 and a strong benefits package including a 401K match.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in construction projects.
• Ground up to finish experience in the retail or commercial space.
• Ability to accurately read building plans.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the construction projects from start to finish.
• Execute project planning, budgeting, and identification of resources needed.
• Create the teams, develop the objectives/goals of each and assign individual responsibilities.
• Works closely with Superintendents to coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Project accounting functions including managing the budget, tracking of team expenses and minimizing exposure and risk in the project.
• Ensure that construction activities move according to pre-determined schedule.
• Devise the project work plans and make revisions as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with the contractors responsible for completing various phases of the project.
• Coordinate the efforts of all parties involved in the project, which include the architects, consultants, contractors, sub-contractors and laborers.
• Monitor the progress of the construction activities on a regular basis and hold regular status meetings with all the sub-teams.
• Maintain strict adherence to the budgetary guidelines, quality and safety standards.
• Perform periodic inspection of construction sites.

Individual will have full ownership to make decisions, so we're looking for someone that has an entrepreneurial spirit that enjoys leading projects start to finish.
