Job summary

Riverbend Commercial Title Services in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking a Commercial Closing Agent to manage nationwide real estate closings. You will coordinate transactions, prepare title commitments, draft closing documents, and liaise with clients, lenders, and attorneys to ensure smooth closings and strict compliance.

The role emphasizes accuracy, organization, and proactive communication, supporting complex deals for developers, lenders, and law firms across the country.

Qualifications

• Two years of hands-on experience in commercial real estate transactions.
• High school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, paralegal studies, or related field preferred.
• Intermediate/advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook; familiarity with title production software (SoftPro/RamQuest) is a plus.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills with high-volume workload under deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a professional, client-focused demeanor.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 15 pounds.
• ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with national title underwriters and ALTA standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of commercial real estate closings as the primary contact for clients, attorneys, lenders, and other parties.
• Prepare, review, and issue title insurance commitments, endorsements, policies, and related products.
• Draft and assemble closing documents, including settlement statements and escrow instructions.
• Obtain underwriter approvals for complex title matters and ensure compliance with standards.
• Coordinate receipt, disbursement, and reconciliation of escrow funds per instructions and regulations.
• Communicate updates with all stakeholders via email, phone, and in-person meetings.
• Maintain organized physical and electronic transaction files per policy.
• Prepare correspondence and reports to facilitate closings and support team objectives.
• Perform additional duties to support Riverbend team.
