Our licensed brokerage division specializes in tenant representation and occupier advocacy, with a strong emphasis on strategic site selection, lease negotiation, and operational alignment for office, retail, wellness, and industrial users. We work closely with small-to-mid-sized businesses, franchise operators, and mission-driven entrepreneurs to ensure they’re fully informed, represented, and empowered at every stage of their real estate journey.

Position Summary

We are seeking a licensed Business Development specialist with proven B2B experience and a track record of success in consultative sales of professional services. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in expanding our client base, cultivating qualified leads, and driving new CRE tenant representation engagements across our licensed markets.

This is not a cold-call phone bank role; we’re looking for someone who can strategically network, pitch, and close in a professional setting. You must be comfortable building relationships with decision-makers, educating prospective clients on commercial real estate occupancy risks and opportunities, and aligning our brokerage services to their needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and pursue new B2B opportunities with business owners, operators, franchisees, and corporate real estate decision-makers.
  • Qualify leads through discovery conversations and research to assess space needs, lease timing, operational pain points, and decision authority.
  • Educate prospects on the value of tenant representation and how BCB Advisors advocates for occupiers in the CRE process.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients using CRM tools and weekly outreach targets (email, phone, LinkedIn, networking events, referrals).
  • Represent BCB Advisors at relevant business expos, industry panels, and local/regional events to build visibility and generate warm leads.
  • Coordinate with brokers to ensure timely handoff of qualified leads and support through the onboarding process.
  • Contribute to outreach campaigns and co-develop client-facing marketing content, pitch decks, and follow-up materials.
  • Maintain detailed activity logs, call notes, and pipeline status reporting.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Required:

  • Minimum of 3 years of proven success in B2B business development or sales (professional services, SaaS, legal, or consulting sales preferred)
  • Strong understanding of commercial real estate or a demonstrated ability to quickly learn market dynamics
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a consultative and credible presence
  • Comfortable speaking with C-suite, franchise owners, and independent operators
  • Experience using CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and remotely
  • Strong organizational skills and follow-through
  • Professionalism, persistence, and emotional intelligence

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with site selection, lease negotiation, or tenant advisory services
  • Existing business network in Metro Atlanta, North Fulton, or Gwinnett
  • Prior experience working in a commission-based or performance-incentive structure
  • Background in commercial real estate, franchise development, or operations consulting
