Job summary

JLL in Portland, OR is seeking an Associate Broker to support senior brokers across business development, market research, and client presentations. This team-based role involves evaluating transactions, proposals, and financial models while building strong relationships with clients and decision-makers.

The ideal candidate has 1–4+ years in CRE or B2B sales, a business mindset, and the ability to translate data into strategic deliverables. On-site collaboration and career growth are emphasized.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 – 4 (+) years of commercial real estate or business-to-business sales experience.
• Demonstrable success in business development and sales production.
• Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information and translate into strategic deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Attend JLL University ("JLLU"), a 13-week training program for associates.
• Support senior brokers in initiating business development activities and outreach to new leads.
• Work with senior brokers on proposals, property books, and client presentations.
• Develop materials for clients (lease comparisons, market overviews, prospect or client presentations).
• Shadow senior brokers in negotiation, evaluation, and documentation of transactions.
• Provide clients with industry and market information and maintain prospects data.
• Contribute to local market research requests: snapshots, overviews, decks, and research for pitches.
• Review and understand financial models, cash flow projections, and valuation models.
