Job Description

As the Commercial Property and Casualty Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and executing quality review strategies, focusing on portfolio analysis in Non-Profit Human Services, Religious Organizations, and Programs. The team collaborates on reviewing targeted and random underwriting files to identify strengths and opportunities. You will assist underwriting leaders in designing and implementing training strategies to improve individual and team performance. Additionally, you will work closely with underwriters and management to identify process improvements and may participate in departmental projects. This role requires nimble decision-making in a dynamic marketplace, relying on your experience and judgment to meet goals with curiosity, creativity, and autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Perform portfolio quality reviews in Commercial Niches and Programs, ensuring policies meet standards for accuracy, compliance, and proper coverage.
• Prepare executive summaries and reports for underwriting management, including presentations for senior leaders.
• Collaborate with management to identify process inefficiencies and recommend training to address performance gaps.
• Work with other departments to incorporate relevant topics into training programs.
• Provide guidance to underwriters on processes, procedures, risk selection, and underwriting guidelines.
• Contribute to the development of training curricula on new procedures, risk assessment, pricing, and market intelligence.
• Participate in underwriting and project initiatives, often serving as the QA subject matter expert.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Skills/Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five years of commercial underwriting experience or equivalent technical expertise.
• At least two years of experience as a QA analyst or similar auditing role.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Non-Profit Human Services, Religious Organizations, or similar programs is highly desirable.

Compensation

• $79,200 - $132,000 depending on experience, plus bonus eligibility.
• In CA, CT, MA, NJ, NY, and PA: $87,000 - $145,000 plus bonus eligibility.
