What We Do

Our primary responsibility is to fulfill Commercial Evaluation Reports requested through our system. Analysts utilize algorithms and analyze results retrieved from commercial databases to find comparable sales, analyze similar sales, and prepare comparisons using qualitative analysis to form an opinion of the market value of properties. They understand how to complete searches for three comparable sales, analyze various factors, and make recommendations or conclusions. Assistance from more experienced team members varies depending on task complexity. Work is reviewed before being sent to the lender.

What You'll Do

1. Analyze information on subject property physical characteristics from Assessor's websites or by contacting offices; input data into reports, check for errors, and identify additional information needed.
2. Conduct searches for comparable sales; estimate market value using the Sales Comparison Approach, with assistance from senior analysts or leads as needed.
3. Analyze comparable data beyond database information, including deed types, transaction types, and property use, with support from senior analysts or managers.
4. Recommend adjustments for condition, quality, age, sale date, and other factors, typically with help from leads.
5. Recommend weighting of comparables for valuation approval.
6. With guidance, complete income approach or land evaluations.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's Degree
• 2-5 years of experience in real estate, working with real estate/lender or appraisal firms
• Understanding of fundamental concepts and procedures of commercial evaluation
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure
• Problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Salary Range: $22.80 - $30.38 Hourly

This range is an estimate of the base pay and may vary based on knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
