Job Description

As the Commercial Property and Casualty Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and executing quality review strategies focused on portfolio analysis in Non-Profit Human Services, Religious Organizations, and Programs. The team collaborates to review targeted and random underwriting files, identifying strengths and opportunities. You will support underwriting leaders in designing and implementing training strategies to improve individual and team performance. Additionally, you will work closely with underwriters and management to identify process improvements and may assist with departmental projects. The role requires nimble decision-making aligned with the changing business landscape, relying on your experience and judgment to meet goals. Success in this role involves performing a variety of tasks with underwriting curiosity, creativity, and independence.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct portfolio quality reviews in Commercial Niches and Programs, ensuring policies meet standards for accuracy, proper coverage, rating, and compliance to deliver quality products.
  • Prepare executive summaries and reports for underwriting management, including presentations for senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with management to identify inefficiencies and recommend training or process improvements.
  • Work with other departments to incorporate relevant topics into training materials.
  • Advise underwriters on processes, procedures, risk assessment, and underwriting guidelines.
  • Contribute to training curriculum development for existing staff on new procedures, risk selection, and market intelligence.
  • Participate in underwriting projects and serve as the QA subject matter expert.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Skills & Requirements
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Five (5) years of commercial underwriting experience or equivalent technical expertise.
  • Two (2) years of experience as a UW Quality Assurance Associate or similar auditing role.
Recommended Qualifications:
  • Experience in Non-Profit Human Services, Religious Organizations, or Programs is highly desirable.
Compensation
  • $79,200 - $132,000 depending on experience, plus bonus eligibility
  • $87,000 - $145,000 in CA, CT, MA, NJ, NY, and PA, plus bonus eligibility
