Commercial Property and Casualty Underwriting Quality Assurance Analyst - Remote Opportunity

As the Commercial Property and Casualty Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be responsible for developing quality review strategies focusing on portfolio analysis in Non-Profit Human Services, Religious Organizations, and Programs. The team collaborates to review underwriting files, identifying strengths and opportunities. You will assist underwriting leaders in training and performance improvement initiatives, working closely with underwriters and management to identify process and performance enhancements. Your experience and judgment will guide goal planning and achievement, contributing to a nimble decision-making process within the changing business climate.

Responsibilities
  • Perform portfolio quality reviews in Commercial Niches and Programs, ensuring policies meet standards for accuracy, coverage, rating, compliance, and overall quality.
  • Prepare executive summaries and reports for underwriting management, including presentations for senior leaders.
  • Collaborate with management to identify inefficiencies and recommend training opportunities to improve performance.
  • Work with other departments to incorporate relevant topics into training curricula.
  • Provide advice and answer questions from underwriters regarding processes, risk selection, and underwriting guidelines.
  • Contribute to training curriculum development for new procedures, risk assessment, and market intelligence.
  • Participate in underwriting projects and serve as a QA subject matter expert.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Five (5) years of commercial underwriting experience or equivalent technical experience.
  • Two (2) years of experience in QA or auditing roles.
Recommended Qualifications
  • Experience in Non-Profit Human Services, Religious Organizations, or related programs is highly desirable.
Compensation & Benefits

Salary ranges from $79,200 to $132,000, plus bonus eligibility, with higher ranges in specific states ($87,000 - $145,000). Benefits include competitive salary, 401(k) with match, insurance, healthcare plans, wellness incentives, generous PTO, flexible work options, and educational assistance.
