Job summary

Journey Group in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a Commercial Project Manager to lead commercial and industrial construction from preconstruction to closeout. This full-time role can be tailored to experience level, from PM to Senior PM, with opportunities to manage large-scale projects.

You will lead budgets and schedules, coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, oversee procurement and contract administration, identify risks and cost impacts, and ensure safety and client

Qualifications

5+ years of construction project management experience (PM level).
10+ years for Senior Project Manager consideration.
Experience managing commercial and/or industrial projects.
Background in projects ranging from $10M to $100M+ preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
Manage budgets, schedules, and overall project performance.
Collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
Oversee subcontractor procurement and contract administration.
Identify and manage project risks, changes, and cost impacts.
Ensure quality, safety, and client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Mentor and support team members (for senior‑level candidates).
