Job summary

Journey Group is seeking an Industrial Project Manager in Sioux Falls to lead cross‑functional teams delivering high‑performance treatment facilities. You will manage projects from planning through commissioning, ensuring safety, quality, and client satisfaction while controlling cost and schedule.

The role interfaces with preconstruction, engineering, and field operations, serving as the primary client contact and internal leader to drive scope, feasibility, and successful execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in operations, construction or design roles in water/wastewater, manufacturing, or food & beverage industries.
• Experience with MEP coordination and process equipment.
• Experience with engineer-led delivery methods (design‑build, design‑bid‑build, CMAR).

Responsibilities

• Lead all project phases from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
• Own client management and drive project team success.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and field teams to ensure feasibility and scope realization.
• Coordinate with clients from project start to confirm scope and vision.
• Provide timely reports on status, progress, estimates and deliverables.
• Monitor daily progress and ensure estimates stay within budget.
• Attend weekly review meetings to align resources and schedule.
• Assist in establishing new accounts by contributing to proposals and interviews.
• Foster team development and accountability across the project team.
• Maintain strong relationships with all team members and stakeholders.
