Arceus Legal in San Francisco seeks a Commercial and Product Counsel to scale contract review and legal operations for fast-moving tech companies. You will work directly with customers as an extension of their in-house team, delivering practical, business-first advice in a high-responsibility role.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of experience, J.D. and CA bar, and thrives in an in-person, fast-paced setting, with exposure to product and privacy matters and a drive to build scalable legal

Qualifications

• J.D. degree and active California bar membership in good standing.
• 5–8 years’ experience advising technology companies; in-house or sole counsel preferred.
• Experience across corporate, commercial, product and privacy law; EC/VC exposure a plus.

Responsabilités

• Review and negotiate commercial contracts; advise on product and privacy matters.
• Partner with legal and product teams to move contracts efficiently and accurately.
• Interpret contract terms, surface obligations, risks and anomalies.
• Operate internal tooling to streamline reviews and improve platform speed.
• Codify recurring contract types and review playbooks.
