S.I. Goldman Company, Inc. seeks an experienced Plumbing Foreman for our Gainesville, FL team. This hands-on leadership role requires directing field crews, planning activities, and ensuring quality workmanship while maintaining safety and schedule adherence.

You will review plans, coordinate with Project Managers, and manage resources to keep projects on track. A strong knowledge of commercial plumbing and Florida codes is essential.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on commercial plumbing/pipefitting experience.
• Experience as Plumbing Foreman or in a similar field leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, materials, tools, and installation methods.
• Knowledge of Florida Plumbing Code and OSHA safety requirements.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, plans, specifications, submittals, and construction documents.
• Strong leadership, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to plan work, establish priorities, manage crews, and meet project deadlines.
• Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, productivity, and teamwork.

Responsabilidades

• Mentor Lead Plumbers and other field staff.

S.I. Goldman Company, Inc. is seeking an experienced Plumbing Foreman to join our Gainesville team.

We are looking for a strong field leader who knows commercial plumbing, takes pride in quality workmanship, and can effectively lead crews while keeping projects safe, productive, and on schedule. This is a hands‑on leadership position for someone who understands that successful projects require good planning, communication, organization, and teamwork.

What You’ll Do

As a Plumbing Foreman, you will oversee and coordinate plumbing installation activities on assigned projects while providing day‑to‑day leadership to field employees.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate plumbing crews to safely and efficiently complete assigned work.
• Review project plans, specifications, drawings, and schedules to plan and organize field activities.
• Ensure plumbing systems are installed according to project requirements, Company standards, and applicable codes.
• Plan manpower, materials, tools, and equipment needed to keep work progressing on schedule.
• Monitor job progress, labor hours, productivity, and quality of workmanship.
• Coordinate material and equipment needs to ensure crews have what they need when they need it.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, schedules, as‑built information, and other required project documentation.
• Communicate regularly with Project Managers regarding project progress, scheduling, manpower needs, and potential issues.
• Coordinate effectively with other trades, subcontractors, inspectors, and project personnel.
• Identify potential problems early and work with the project team to develop solutions.
• Promote and maintain a safe jobsite and ensure Company and OSHA safety requirements are followed.
• Mentor and develop Lead Plumbers and other members of the field team.
• Maintain a high standard of quality while helping ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on commercial plumbing/pipefitting experience.
• Previous experience as a Plumbing Foreman or in a similar field leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, materials, tools, and installation methods.
• Knowledge of the Florida Plumbing Code and OSHA safety requirements.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, plans, specifications, submittals, and construction documents.
• Strong leadership, organization, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to plan work, establish priorities, manage crews, and meet project deadlines.
• Ability to recognize potential problems before they affect the project.
• Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, productivity, and teamwork.
• Comfortable using a tablet or computer to access drawings, submittals, and project information.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends when project requirements make it necessary.

Licenses & Certifications

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Valid plumbing license.
• OSHA 30-Hour training — in‑house training is available.
• CPR and First Aid certification.

Physical & Work Environment

This is an active construction field position. Employees must be able to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, stand and walk for extended periods, work in confined spaces and at heights, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Travel to jobsites and Company locations within our area of operations may be required.
