Job summary

S.I. Goldman Company is seeking an experienced Mechanical Foreman to lead commercial mechanical construction projects across Central Florida, based in Orlando, FL. You will supervise field crews, read blueprints, coordinate with Project Managers and subcontractors, and ensure safety and quality on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of pipefitting or mechanical construction experience.
• Experience leading commercial mechanical construction crews.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, piping, plumbing and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience using field devices or tablets to manage daily activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise field crews.
• Coordinate work with Project Managers, subcontractors and other trades.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specs and construction documents.
• Plan daily activities and schedule labor efficiently.
• Monitor progress, quality and productivity.
• Ensure work meets standards and codes.

• Identify and resolve field issues to keep projects moving.

What You'll Do

As a Mechanical Foreman, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of commercial mechanical projects by:

• Leading and supervising field crews
• Coordinating work with Project Managers, subcontractors, and other trades
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and construction documents
• Planning daily work activities and scheduling labor efficiently
• Monitoring project progress, quality, and productivity
• Ensuring all work meets company standards, project specifications, and applicable codes
• Maintaining a safe jobsite and enforcing OSHA requirements
• Tracking labor, materials, daily reports, and change orders
• Identifying and resolving field issues to keep projects moving forward

What We're Looking For

Qualified candidates should have:

• Minimum 5 years of pipefitting or mechanical construction experience
• Previous experience leading commercial mechanical construction crews
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, piping, plumbing, and mechanical systems
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Experience using an iPad or computer in the field
• OSHA 30 Certification (preferred)
• CPR/First Aid Certification (preferred)
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
