Job summary

S.I. Goldman Company, Inc. is seeking an experienced Plumbing Foreman to join our Gainesville team. This hands-on leadership role requires strong planning, communication, and safety focus to lead commercial plumbing crews on multiple projects in Gainesville, FL.

You will review plans, mentor field staff, ensure on-time completion, and uphold quality workmanship in accordance with company standards and codes. Travel to nearby sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on commercial plumbing/pipefitting experience.
• Experience as Plumbing Foreman or in a similar field leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, materials, tools, and installation methods.
• Knowledge of the Florida Plumbing Code and OSHA safety requirements.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, plans, specifications, submittals, and construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate plumbing installation activities on assigned projects.
• Lead and coordinate plumbing crews to safely complete work.
• Review project plans, specs, drawings, and schedules to plan field activities.
• Plan manpower, materials, tools, and equipment to keep work progressing on schedule.
• Monitor job progress, labor hours, productivity, and quality of workmanship.
• Maintain accurate daily reports and project documentation.
• Communicate with Project Managers regarding progress and issues.
• Coordinate with other trades, inspectors, and project personnel.
• Identify potential problems early and develop solutions.
• Promote and maintain a safe jobsite following OSHA requirements.
