Job summary

Accurate Mechanical is seeking a Plumbing Foreman to lead commercial plumbing on construction sites, supervising a crew and coordinating work to meet project timelines. The role ensures installations meet codes, specs, and safety requirements.

You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to resolve issues, monitor progress, and maintain high quality on site. A strong background in commercial plumbing and supervisory roles is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid plumbing license or certification as required by local or state regulations.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial plumbing.
• Proven experience in a supervisory or foreman role within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, safety regulations, and construction site protocols.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of commercial plumbers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate plumbing work to align with project timelines and milestones.
• Inspect plumbing installations and maintenance work to ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and project specifications.
• Manage travel arrangements and logistics for crew members when working on multiple or remote job sites.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to resolve technical issues and optimize workflow.
• Maintain accurate records of work progress, materials used, and labor hours for reporting purposes.
• Ensure all plumbing fixtures and systems are installed and maintained according to manufacturer guidelines and industry best practices.
• Promote a safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular safety meetings.

This position requires managing a team of plumbers, scheduling work assignments, and ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and regulations. The foreman acts as the primary point of contact between project managers, subcontractors, and on-site personnel, facilitating clear communication and problem resolution. Additionally, the role involves monitoring the maintenance and installation of plumbing fixtures and systems, ensuring that all work meets design specifications and client expectations. Ultimately, the Plumbing Foreman is responsible for delivering successful plumbing project outcomes that support the overall construction timeline and budget.

Minimum Qualifications:
