Job summary

CGL Facility Management, LLC seeks a Plumber to perform preventive and corrective plumbing maintenance for our client. Responsibilities include installing, repairing pipes, fixtures, DWV, water heaters, and related components, plus documenting work in CMMS.

The role requires at least 1 year of commercial plumbing experience, a high school diploma or GED, ability to work nights/on-call, and a valid driver's license. You will work in a team, maintain safety, and mentor junior technicians.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) required.
• A minimum of 1 year of maintenance experience in Plumbing for commercial environments required.
• Must be able to work general trade problems.
• Must be a self-starter and motivated.
• Ability to work in confined spaces.
• Ability to work night shifts and be on call when needed.
• Must become familiar with the design and layout of the facility.
• Must be a team player, have strong work ethic, positive attitude, and desire to succeed while representing our firm with the best possible service to our clients.
• Reliable and dependable attendance and punctuality are essential for this position.

Responsibilities

• Assembles, installs, and repairs pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems according to specifications and plumbing codes.
• Installs and repairs plumbing fixtures, including sinks, showers, commodes, water heaters, hot water tanks, garbage disposals, and dishwashers.
• Assembles and installs valves, pipe fittings, and pipes composed of metals, clay, and plastic using hand and power tools.
• Conducts daily activities like drain cleaning, soldering, brazing, repair and installation of DWV, installing toilets, water lines, P-Traps, repair of water leaks, repair/replacement of valves, faucets, sinks, etc.
• Completes all documentation required in compliance with CMMS.
• Conducts preventive and corrective maintenance work orders.
• Performs work in accordance with established safety procedures and standards.
• Maintains a clean and safe workplace.
• Provides training technicians in unlike skillset some basics of your trade provide mentorship, oversight and direction.
• Requires driving for the Company using a Company vehicle or personal/rental vehicle >50% of the time.
