Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Commercial Specialist to support CPP-led sales, coordinate commercial deliveries, and manage vehicle readiness. The role includes stocking visits, customer outreach, and driving cross-sell opportunities within a busy parts department.

Responsibilities include leading the backroom and delivery areas, engaging walk-in customers, and ensuring accurate inventory and safety compliance. A valid driver’s license with MVR is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• ASE certification preferred but not required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record (MVR).
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals and parts catalogs.

Responsibilities

• Support CPP-led commercial sales and assist with dispatching deliveries from order creation to dispatched for delivery.
• Manage store vehicle fleet maintenance, safety checks, and general vehicle readiness.
• Conduct account stocking visits and Pro Sales flyer drops.
• Perform outbound calls, follow-ups, and basic account touchpoints.
• Lead the organization around the parts department, backroom, staging and delivery areas.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling to increase average transaction value.
• Lead commercial program when CPP is not present (weekends as needed).
