Job summary

Base is building a next-generation energy platform with distributed batteries and a growing partner network. As a Commercial Partnerships intern, you will support market and competitive analysis, build business cases in Excel, and help design go-to-market plans for new partnerships.

You will coordinate with sales, marketing, design, finance and product to turn analysis into action. You will gain visibility across the organization, contribute to dashboards and reports, and learn how partnerships

Qualifications

• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with comfort building financial models and business cases in Excel.
• Structured problem solving to break down ambiguous questions into clear recommendations.
• Interest or experience in market analysis and go-to-market strategy, ideally in B2B2C partnerships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to translate analysis into concise recommendations.
• Proficiency with PowerPoint/Slides and Excel; SQL or similar data tools a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support market and competitive analysis to identify new partnership opportunities.
• Build financial and business case models to size opportunities and test assumptions.
• Help design and track go-to-market plans for launching partnerships.
• Create dashboards and recurring reports to track program performance.
• Turn strategic recommendations into action with cross-functional teams.
• Assist in resolving partner issues and document repeatable processes.
