Job summary

DH Pace Company, Inc. in Harlingen, TX, is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the Harlingen commercial installation and/or service departments and drive profitable operations.

Requirements include 2+ years in a related management role and a bachelor’s degree preferred; product knowledge is not required. You will focus on customer satisfaction, timely scheduling, and collaboration with sales to meet annual budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with 2+ years as Department/Operations/Project Manager in the Service Provider industry with familiarity and knowledge of construction project management and installation of building materials.
• Experience managing service or installation teams for mechanical/electrical products.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee commercial operations and personnel associated with efficiently, effectively, safely, and profitably.
• Manage and improve operational processes and procedures with the objective of providing maximum profit and return with an emphasis on customer satisfaction and return business.
• Ensure sold jobs are timely scheduled and performed to achieve budgeted sales and gross profit objectives.
• Collaborate to ensure operating budgets and sales goals align and are on track monthly.
• Deliver Profit Dollars and return on sales that meets or exceeds the yearly budget/forecast.
• Establish objectives and action plans aligned with corporate objectives.
• Hire, train and develop new employees; improve performance through coaching and reviews.
• Lead meetings, set performance expectations and hold employees accountable.
• Communicate with customers to solicit feedback and learn of new sales opportunities.
