Job summary

Materion is seeking a Commercial Manager - Performance Materials America to lead and grow the Customer Support Specialists across the Americas. You will guide the team to deliver exceptional service while achieving sales targets and profitability goals.

You will collaborate with sales, operations and quality to optimize processes and customer outcomes. You will develop and implement improvements in quotation and order management, coach staff, and own key customer accounts to expand business.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in business, engineering or technical field.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in sales, customer support, marketing or a technical field.
• Experience with technical products is a strong plus.
• Strong leadership, communication and collaboration across matrixed teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and train the PM America’s Customer Support team to meet customer needs.
• Drive sales growth and profitability by optimizing quotation and order management processes.
• Responsible for sales forecasts and meeting revenue, profitability and budget goals.
• Support cross-functional resolution of issues with Quality, Legal, Sales, Planning and Operations.
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous process improvements within the CSS organization.
