Job summary

Friedman Real Estate in Blue Ash, Ohio is seeking an experienced Commercial Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will operate, inspect, and maintain building systems including electrical, mechanical, pump, fire, plumbing, and HVAC to keep properties running safely and efficiently.

The role requires 3–5 years of maintenance experience in commercial real estate; HVAC certification is preferred. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required to travel between properties.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years minimum of maintenance experience in building maintenance, preferably commercial real estate.
• HVAC certification is preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license to travel between properties as necessary.
• Must have a basic set of tools.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily work orders including light electrical, plumbing, carpentry and basic repairs.
• General maintenance of building grounds and common areas.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on equipment per procedures.
• Maintain operating logs and report faults or irregularities.
• Conduct periodic inspections of mechanical equipment and systems.

This position will complete the operation, inspection, and maintenance of all commercial building equipment including electrical, mechanical, pump, fire, plumbing, and HVAC systems to achieve increased efficiency. The Maintenance Technician will be required to ensure safety while decreasing downtime by completing proactive performance testing and scheduled maintenance.Responsibilities:Completion of daily work orders to include light bulb changes and minor repairs, plumbing, carpentry, and light electrical repairs.General maintenance of grounds, including common areas.Perform preventative and predictive maintenance as directed on equipment and assist in developing, reviewing and implementing comprehensive preventative maintenance procedures.Maintain operating logs on all equipment; record, correct and report all faults, deficiencies and other unusual occurrences.Make periodic inspection of all mechanical equipment and systems.Other general maintenance duties as necessary.3-5 years minimum of maintenance experience in building maintenance, experience in commercial real estate preferred.HVAC certification is preferred.Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license, to travel between properties as necessary.Must have basic set of tools.Be responsible and reliable.Valid drivers license, reliable transportation, and automotive insurance required.Friedman Real Estate is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
