Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience in a commercial property setting.
• Ability to use common maintenance tools and equipment safely.
• Valid driver's license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems, including packaging and handling machinery, plumbing, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, grounds equipment, and HVAC.
• Clean, lubricate, and service pumps, valves, pneumatic controls, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic devices.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Replace and repair building finishes such as ceiling tiles, door hardware, wallpaper, and painting of walls, piping, floors and equipment.
• Troubleshoot, evaluate, and recommend upgrades or savings opportunities in maintenance operations.
• Respond to emergency situations and customer service requests as assigned.
• Maintain knowledge of tools and equipment used in facility and ground maintenance.
