Job summary

WesBanco Bank Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Banking Specialist to input Warehouse Lending loans and paydowns, process Dealer Floor Plan transactions, and handle daily wire activity.

The role requires customer-focused communication with lenders, dealers, and internal teams across the bank. Responsibilities include onboarding and maintenance of commercial loans, posting payments, and generating weekly floor plan reports.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree preferred.
• Experience in banking or other financial institution preferred.
• Including ability to learn Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.

Responsibilities

• Inputs new Warehouse Lending loans into the Banking core system.
• Advances Dealer Floor Plan lines based on dealer requests.
• Verifies payments and payoff; contacts dealers on issues.
• Posts payments and payoffs to Dealer Floor Plan software and loans.
• Performs daily wire processing and routine maintenance tasks.
• Maintains email/phone communications with lenders, dealers, and customers.
• Downloads and distributes weekly Dealer Floor Plan reports.
• Monitors serviced loan transactions and notifies customers of returned payments.
• Posts loan payments including participation loans per lead bank instructions.
• Processes remittance paperwork for participation loans as lead bank.
• Daily incoming/outgoing wires processing.
• Supports branches and departments via email/phone.
• Ensures accurate onboarding and maintenance of commercial loans.
• Collaborates with peers and leaders; adapts to process improvements.
• Learn new systems to streamline and scale work.

Education

High school diploma or GED

Associates degree preferred

Experience in banking or financial institution
