Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous banking experience required.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for customer interactions and documentation.
• Familiarity with loan processing software and financial systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Engage daily with loan customers, assist with closings, process documents, and direct customers to officers.
• Use loan processing software to generate documents and prepare forms for new or renewed loans.
• Process various loan types including consumer, commercial, real estate, SBA, and FSA lending.
• File collateral documents and maintain accurate loan records.
• Stay informed on Federal and State loan regulations and ensure compliance.
• Utilize imaging systems for document retention, scanning, and indexing.
• Use core system for loan entry, posting, updates, and file maintenance.
• Manage loan document tracking and suspense reports.
• Order flood determinations, credit reports, title searches, UCC searches, appraisals.
• Communicate with internal teams to resolve errors and improve efficiency.
• Handle mail, faxing, and photocopying as needed.
• Process loan payments and manage charge-offs, non-accruals, and participations.
• Review reports and balance general ledger accounts; complete loan-related tasks timely.
