Consumers National Bank is seeking a Commercial Loan Processor to handle loans from documentation through closing and funding. You will coordinate with lenders, attorneys, title companies, and third-party providers to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of banking, commercial lending, loan processing, or closing experience.
• Knowledge of commercial loan documentation and lending compliance.
• Experience with SBA loans or construction lending is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process approved commercial and business loans from documentation through closing and funding.
• Prepare accurate loan documents and verify that documentation aligns with approved loan terms.
• Order and review appraisals, title work, flood certifications, lien searches, and other required documentation.
• Coordinate loan closings with lenders, attorneys, title companies, insurance providers, and third-party vendors.
• Process construction loan draws, disburse loan proceeds, and maintain accurate loan records.
• Process SBA loan documentation and complete applicable HMDA information.
• Track loan status, follow up on outstanding items, and keep lenders informed throughout the process.
• Review completed closing packages for accuracy and resolve documentation exceptions.
• Organize finalized loan files and transfer completed documentation to Loan Servicing.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with commercial lending regulations, bank policies, BSA requirements, and established security standards.

Commercial Loan Processor

Join Consumers National Bank and play an important role in delivering an accurate, efficient commercial loan closing experience. The Commercial Loan Processor partners with lenders and internal teams to process approved commercial loans from documentation through closing and funding. This position coordinates with title companies, appraisers, attorneys, insurance companies, and other third-party providers while ensuring compliance with bank policies and lending regulations.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field preferred.
• Two or more years of banking, commercial lending, loan processing, loan documentation, or loan closing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of commercial loan documentation, collateral requirements, and lending compliance.
• Experience with SBA loans, construction lending, LaserPro, or another loan origination system is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, proofreading, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organization and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple loan transactions and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other banking software.
• Ability to work collaboratively with lenders, internal departments, customers, and third-party service providers.
• Sound judgment and a strong commitment to confidentiality, accuracy, customer service, and regulatory compliance.
