Job summary

Firstrust Bank is seeking a Client Services Loan Specialist to support Relationship Managers, Portfolio Managers and Credit Managers in managing a commercial loan portfolio. You will review closing packages for compliance with regulations and bank policy, and prepare complete loan closing documents.

The role requires 5+ years in a commercial bank environment, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in a commercial bank environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a two- or four-year degree preferred.
• Intermediate efficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review loan packages in the Bank's loan origination system, ensuring accuracy and completeness of the information.
• Prepare and assemble complete loan closing packages for commercial banking transactions.
• Request spreads through the Bank's third-party spreading software.
• Order and collect necessary items and reports, including property and UCC searches, entity formation documents, insurance, reports, appraisals, etc.
• Ensure CRA information is accurately addressed and geocode maps updated if needed.
• Process new loan fundings as needed via wire, check, or Salesforce case submission.
• Assist portfolio managers in processing advances, LOC renewals, risk review date advances, extensions, and payoff letter requests.
• Maintain credit files for borrowers and prospects and monitor loan portfolios for delinquency and covenant compliance.
