Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Active member of the Florida Bar.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial litigation.
• Proven experience as an Associate Attorney, Trial Attorney, Staff Attorney, Judicial Law Clerk, or Law Clerk.
• Proficiency in business litigation, complex litigation, civil litigation, and commercial litigation.
• Exceptional skills in litigation, legal research, and legal writing.
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to handle high-stress situations and multiple cases simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing time effectively.
• High level of professional ethics and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of commercial litigation, from investigation, pleadings, and discovery to pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal processes.
• Conduct extensive legal research and analysis on various complex legal issues.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, opinions, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in a manner that is in their best interest.
• Maintain professionalism and strict confidentiality in all client interactions.
• Collaborate with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to ensure the best outcome for our clients.
• Stay updated on current legislation and legal developments that may impact our clients and their cases.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on commercial litigation matters.
