Orion Placement in Harrisburg, PA is seeking an experienced associate to manage and support complex commercial litigation matters, working alongside seasoned attorneys and taking on substantial responsibility.

The role offers exposure to hearings, depositions, motion practice, trial preparation, and client strategy within an established regional law firm.

Candidates must have PA Bar license and 3+ years of complex commercial litigation experience; New Jersey admission is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Bar license required.
• 3+ years of complex commercial litigation experience required.
• Strong legal research, analytical, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines with strong attention to detail.
• Trial or first-chair experience preferred but not required.
• New Jersey Bar admission is a plus.
• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support complex commercial litigation matters from initial strategy through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other substantive legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop persuasive written and oral arguments.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, conferences, and trial preparation.
• Analyze complex factual and legal issues and help develop effective case strategies.
• Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and internal legal teams.
• Work closely with experienced litigators while building greater ownership of matters and client relationships.
