Job summary

Armstrong Teasdale is seeking an attorney to handle general, commercial, and appellate litigation. You will drive matters from inception to conclusion, shaping strategy at multiple stages. The role requires extensive discovery, deposition prep and trial participation, with significant courtroom experience at state or federal levels.

Bar admission in NY or NJ is a plus. You will develop business and manage junior associates, delegating tasks and coordinating support staff.

Qualifications

• Candidates are expected to drive matters from inception to conclusion, handling the high-level and strategic aspects of multiple legal matters at different stages simultaneously.
• Litigation experience should encompass traditional and electronic discovery, deposition preparation and taking, motion drafting, and active participation in hearings and trial, including significant courtroom experience at state and/or federal levels, and appeals.
• The position requires assisting in business generation through group and individual efforts.
• Ability to delegate to and manage junior associates and utilize support staff is expected.
• Admission to the New York or New Jersey bar is considered a plus.
• Travel is generally less than 10%, but may be higher depending on specific cases.
