Job summary

Acuity Insurance is seeking a Commercial Lines Consultant to monitor underwriting guidelines and practices, perform audits, and communicate findings. The role includes developing training materials and leading programs, serving as a knowledge resource, and guiding strategic direction across departments.

Remote-friendly with preference for HQ candidates in Sheboygan, WI, travel for training and development may be required. Salary range is substantial and benefits are included.

Responsibilities

• Uphold best practices and consistency in underwriting through audits.
• Create and conduct training programs for new hires and existing employees.
• Serve as a knowledge resource on guidelines, risk assessment, and coverage interpretation.
• Partner with management to identify and implement policy or standard changes.
• Develop and maintain reference materials supporting best practices.
• Monitor external resources for relevant industry developments.
• Participate in cross-functional projects to improve processes and systems.
• Maintaining professional representation of Acuity and its consulting brand.
