FCCI Insurance Group in Carmel, IN is seeking a Commercial Lines Underwriter Trainee for the Spring 2027 cohort. The program trains you to underwrite commercial risk, develop agent and client relationships, and master underwriting guidelines within a structured training path.

The role starts in June 2027 with a comprehensive training program, and regional travel may be required for periodic training sessions. Competitive benefits and salary range are offered.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management & Insurance or related field.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, relationship building, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze, define and solve problems; the use of good judgment and decision-making.
• Willingness to complete industry designations such as CPCU or CIC is desired.

Responsabilidades

• Train to underwrite risk for commercial business determining selection/rejection of new and renewal accounts.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with agents and insureds within assigned territory.
• Participate in extensive training program with instruction, self-study and shadowing.
• Evaluate accounts and make underwriting recommendations within limited authority on moderate complexity.
