Job summary

FCCI Insurance Group is seeking an E&S Underwriter Trainee to train in underwriting risk for commercial business. You will learn guidelines, procedures, and laws while building relationships with agents and insureds across a multi-office footprint.

The program begins June 2027, with training on the job and shadowing, culminating in evaluating accounts and making recommendations within limited authority at moderate complexity.

Qualifications

• Training to underwrite risk for new and renewal commercial business.
• Learn underwriting guidelines, rating manual rules and insurance laws/regulations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with agents and insureds within assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Participate in extensive training program.
• Evaluate existing and new accounts after mastery.
• Make underwriting recommendations within limited authority on moderate-technical accounts.
