Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of insurance-related work experience and have earned an associate in insurance (AINS) designation.
• Candidates who graduated within the last five years must submit an official or unofficial transcript.

Responsibilities

• Learn underwriting principles, risk assessment, and product knowledge.
• Build relationships with independent agents and collaborate with senior underwriters.
• Analyze information, identify risk exposures, and make underwriting recommendations.
• Evaluate pricing, coverage terms, and policy conditions to support profitable decisions.
• Travel to visit agencies to strengthen relationships and communicate company vision.
