Qualifications

Responsabilités

• Prospect and develop new business opportunities in middle-market commercial accounts.
• Collaborate with the VP of Sales to refine sales techniques and strategies.
• Attend a sales school in Tennessee as part of training.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular meetings and networking.
• Focus on specific industry verticals to develop expertise and market presence.
• Meet and exceed sales quotas and activity milestones.

Job Summary

Seeking a motivated and dynamic Commercial Lines Producer to join a growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales, a go-getter mentality, and a passion for building client relationships.

Compensation Package

• Base Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 (declines by 1/3 over three years to transition to commission-only).
• Commission Structure: 40% on new business, 30% on renewals.
• Activity Bonuses: Up to $1,000/month for meeting activity goals during the first two years.
• Equity Opportunity: Earn equity once your book of business reaches $250,000 in revenue.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new business opportunities in middle-market commercial accounts.
• Collaborate with the VP of Sales to refine sales techniques and strategies.
• Participate in structured training programs, including attending a sales school in Tennessee.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular meetings and networking.
• Focus on specific industry verticals ("major" and "minor") to develop expertise and market presence.
• Meet and exceed sales quotas and activity milestones.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Risk Management, or a related field preferred.
• Experience:
  • 3-4 years of B2B sales experience, or
  • 2-3 years in an insurance-related role (e.g., Producer Assistant), or
  • Recent graduates with a degree in Risk Management or a related field.
• Licenses: Property & Casualty (P&C) license preferred but not required.
• Proven experience in prospecting, client meetings, and achieving sales targets.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a hunger for success.
