Position Overview

The Commercial Lines Account Manager will play an integral role in driving our mission to deliver excellence in client management and retention.

Primary Responsibilities

  1. Effectively manage a high-volume book of insurance business, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  2. Grow client loyalty by building positive relationships and providing high levels of advocacy, excellent service, and professional communication.
  3. Handle renewals, service requests, claims, billing, and new policies.
  4. Maintain a thorough understanding of the markets, their appetites, underwriting guidelines, submission procedures, and policies.
  5. Review all applications, policies, endorsements, and audits for accuracy.
  6. Coordinate expiration list with the department manager to obtain renewal business information.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, preferred.
  • Minimum of three years Commercial Account Management experience required.
  • Property & Casualty License required.
  • Valid driver’s license and insurance required.
  • Strong administrative and computing skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Applied/Epic or similar agency management software experience preferred.
  • Able to work independently and enjoy a high degree of interaction with team members.
  • Self-motivated and driven.
  • Maintain a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including active listening and problem-solving with minimal assistance.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, work independently, and handle sensitive information discreetly.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude.
