Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage a defined book of business and support new growth. The role requires coordinating daily admin, client service, billing, and coverage analysis to ensure accuracy and timely renewals.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in account management or 5+ years in insurance, with active P&C licensing; CIC or similar designation preferred. Hybrid remote work is possible with on-site needs in certain locales.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience, or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Required active licensing; CIC or equivalent preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring account retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities.
• Resolve complex issues, and ensure no errors or omissions.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Monitor workload, improve processes, and communicate status to the team.
• Deliver excellent service and proactively meet client needs.
