Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking an Account Manager for Commercial Lines to oversee an assigned book of business, ensuring retention and growth. The role involves coordinating day-to-day admin, policy administration, billing, and service requests while maintaining data accuracy across agency systems.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in account management, a current P&C license, and preferably a CIC or equivalent designation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience in an insurance context.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active P&C license; CIC or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues and preventing errors.
• Renewals: manage expirations, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, present proposals.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms with accurate data.
