Job summary

Insurance Office of America (IOA) seeks an Account Manager for Commercial Lines to manage a book of business, retain clients, and coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities.

The role requires an active P&C license, 3+ years of account management (or 5+ years in insurance), strong analytical and communication skills, and MS Office proficiency. Remote, with potential hybrid onsite as needed, within ETZ/CTZ.

Qualifications

• Active P&C license required; CIC or equivalent preferred.
• 3+ years account management or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Maintain technical competence and industry expertise.
• Direct daily activities of the account management team.
• Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and pursue collections.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Communicate workload status and issues with the team.
• Deliver excellent service and anticipate client needs.
• Stay updated on company policies and procedures.
• Seek continuous improvement and champion IOA values.
