Job summary

Capitol Federal Savings Bank is seeking a Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager to support growth and retention of its commercial book. You’ll serve as the main contact for commercial clients, assist with renewals and remarketing, and help uphold high compliance standards.

Responsibilities include placing coverage with the sales team, processing endorsements, and maintaining detailed account records. The role requires 1–3 years’ related experience, a bachelor’s degree, and KS/MO licenses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Kansas/Missouri Property & Casualty License and Kansas/Missouri Life & Health License.
• CISR, CIC or other insurance designations preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Minimum 1–3 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Commercial Lines sales team with coverage placement.
• Explain products and services, submit applications, and process endorsements.
• Service and maintain existing accounts including responding to customer requests and generating policy documents.
• Maintain accurate records for customer/company interactions in the agency management system.
• Assist with policy remarketing and premium audits as directed.
• Prepare, process, and review insurance applications for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with customer billing inquiries and changes.
• Assist with claims process by directing the customer to the company for direct claims reporting.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
• Comply with current laws, regulations and bank policies and procedures.
• Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.
