Job summary

Brown & Brown in Tallahassee, FL seeks a Commercial Lines Account Manager to support and retain an assigned book of commercial clients. You will work closely with clients, producers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure accurate coverage and timely service.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and skilled in Commercial Lines, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences and maintaining robust relationships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Florida 2-20 General Lines Insurance License required.
• Commercial Lines experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with agency management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day servicing of assigned Commercial Lines accounts.
• Respond to client requests with accurate information on coverage, policies, and billing.
• Review applications, renewals, endorsements for accuracy and underwriting guidelines.
• Prepare and process binders, policies, certificates, audits, cancellations, and other docs.
• Coordinate renewal processes and gather information with producers and carriers.
• Maintain accurate client information in the agency system and build client relationships.
• Provide backup support to teammates as needed.
